- Sand: Base coat with Yellow Ochre , wet blend in a bit of Ivory for some variety. Shade with Agrax Earthshade . Dry brush with Yellow Ochre and then Warm Flesh and then Desert Sand .
- Dirt: Base coat by wet blending with Harvest Brown nearest sand and Dark Umber furthest from sand. Shade with Agrax Earthshade . Some random dry brushing with Yellow Ochre and Desert Sand
- Rock: Base coat with Dark Warm Grey shade with Agrax Earthshade . Dry brush with Dark Warm Grey and then add a little bit of Nuln Oil over it.
- Add some lush green vegetation (originally used woodland tufts from army painter and lucky flowers from huge miniatures) and flock with light green homemade flock, all on the dirt portions of the base.
