Slimer model from Crooked Dice 7TV range

Model Prep

This model did not come with a flight stand so I had to make that from scratch. This is a metal model so that made it quite top-heavy. What I ended up doing was using a small brass rod as the flight stand and using a gorilla glue epoxy mix for the glue because of how strong it adheres. It was still somewhat top-heavy so I drilled through the base and stuck the brass rod through there and hooked it under the hollow side of the base, then glued it with the epoxy. Then primed the model with Brainmatter Beige spray.

Body

1. 2 coats of Hexwraith Flame

Eyes

1. Sun Yellow

Mouth

1. Emperor's Children as a base
2. Washed with Reikland Fleshshade
3. Teeth are Bone White

Base

1. Used Geek Gaming Scenics “City Rubble” basing materials. Once the glue was dried I used some reddish brown pigment powders sprinkled on to give a brick color to some of the rubble. This powder is actually just chalk pastels I bought and shave some off to make the powder instead of buying a wargaming dedicated one as its cheaper.
