Rough Riders of my Attilan Horde
Phase 1: Undercoat
- Spray with ColourForge Ossified Earth a colour match of Morghast Bone
Assuming that the model is entirely built you're going to have some trouble painting the undersides of the model so sequence is important.
Phase 2: Start The Horse!
There are a number of options you can use for colour however I would encourage white, grey or bay. Brown and Black create a dark model and are leather colours that will feature a lot on the model already.

Grey Horse
Thats white to you.
- Base with two thin coats of Celestra Grey
- Skip ahead to Phase 3 before returning to finish this sequence
- Wash with Nuln Oil
- Faintly dry brush with Ulthuan Grey
- Normally you'd want to highlight with a brilliant white however this is a horse and they have dark skin so in the rare cases to edge highlight like the ears use Administratum Grey or take it down again to Celestra Grey again.
Bay Horse
That brown to you.

Phase 3: Half Blue
- Base the inside of the horse jacket in Kantor Blue
- Is the horse Grey? If so return to the workflow for the fur.
- Wash with Nuln Oil
Phase 4: Fatigues
- Base the outside of the horse jacket and the riders clothes with two thin coats of Deathworld Forest
- Wash with Athonian Camoshade
Phase 5: Full Blue
- Base the other blue elements like the riders trousers, inside lining of the jacket and blankets in Kantor Blue
- Wash with Nuln Oil
