Colours I use when painting leather, on things like belts, pteregues, and pouches
- Base prime with Chaos Black or equivalent black
- Base coat all leather areas with Rhinox Hide
- Layer over with Mournfang Brown , making sure to leave the Rhinox Hide in the recesses to create contrast.
- Layer with Gorthor Brown , avoiding the Mournfang in the shadow areas.
- As an edge highlight, use Baneblade Brown over the raised edges of the leather, as well as scratching weathering on often rubbed areas.
