a more colourfull approach, for a more eccentric army.
- ARMOR
- start by basing in black and drybrushing celestra grey and corax white.
- apply vallejo game colour midnight purple to all armor pannels.
- with a dry brush, going in a downwards motion, apply THE ARMY PAINTER's warlock purple. dont worry about the skin. we can get that later.
- from the bottom up, with a dry brush, apply vallejo blue green.
- with a small brush finish up details for both magenta and blue, edge highlighting the hard lines of the pannels. focusing more on the magenta parts.
- SKIN
- begin by applying two thin coats of THE FANG over all skin parts.
- on the higher parts, apply FENRISIAN GREY, avoiding the deepest recesses, especially on the face.
- for a final skin highlight, apply a small amount of russ grey on only the highest points
- for better blending, use thinned colours and add more layers, building up as you go.
- HAIR
- begin by painting with CYGOR brown contrast. then highlight using a lighter skin tone colour along the highest points of the hair.
- using a glaze of whatever colours you want, glaze over the highlighted parts and slightly over to give the effect of dyed hair
