  1. Prime Mechanicus Standard Grey

Skin

  1. Basecoat Rakarth Flesh
  2. Reikland Fleshshade + Lahmian Medium 50/50. Go back in after it’s dry and darken down any areas that need more definition with more of the mix as needed.
  3. Highlight Pallid Wych Flesh Use thin lines and just pick out the edges of muscles and folds.
  4. Carroburg Crimson and Lahmian Medium , probably around 30/70, build up the bruising on certain areas of the model. Pustules, the knuckles, elbows, and lower lip. Build this up over several thin layers. You can always make it darker and more intense, but it’ll be harder to make it lighter if you accidentally use too much. Alternately for a more intense look use undiluted Carroburg Crimson or Sigvald Burgundy Any of the more prominent pustules also got a glaze of undiluted Seraphim Sepia . Alternately you can use Nazdreg Yellow for a more aggressive yellow.
  5. Touch up any highlights dulled by the Carroburg Crimson glaze with more Pallid Wych Flesh

Green Cloth

  1. Basecoat cloaks and hoods Castellan Green
  2. Shade by progressively more Abaddon Black into the Castellan Green and painting into the folds. This step is a bit of a back and forth between the green and the green/black mix. You want to get a gradual blend. For as faster approach, you can also wash it with Nuln Oil and then relayer Castellan Green on the raised areas for a quicker effect that will look pretty similar.
  3. Highlight with Death Guard Green . Pick out the edges of folds and holes. You can also paint on some scratches around the bottom to make it look like it’s a thicker fabric that’s been a bit weather beaten.
  4. Lastly, highlight using Nurgling Green to pick out the most prominent areas.

Dark Green Cloth

  1. Basecoat the trousers/shorts a 50/50 mix of Abaddon Black mixed with Castellan Green . This will be like a darker version of the cloaks.
  2. Highlight with Castellan Green
  3. Next highlight with Death Guard Green on the most prominent areas.
  4. For variation in tone glaze some Abaddon Black into the lower third and any folds. It doesn't make a huge difference, so if you’re happy with how it looked in the previous step, you can skip this step.
