Paint 2 coats of Hobgrot Hide over a Black basecoat.
Wash thinned with Lahmian Medium some Umbral Umber
Followed by a wash straight out of the pot of Nuln Oil
Liberally drybrush over the whole base with Ancient Forest and then a lighter drybrush of Karak Stone
Base all the wood with Ancient Forest
Wash with Nuln Oil
Highlight with a 1:1 mix of Ancient Forest and Rakarth Flesh if the wood is large enough, I drybrush it on.
Then a further highlight of Rakarth Flesh and if needed I add a little white to the Rakarth (Generally on the smaller twigs, so they can stand out)
-Extra Step- I use Mantis Warriors Green over some Ork Flesh for some moss and on the broken parts like the ends of the branches I add some Aggaros Dunes to add some interest.
First I based the leaves with Hobgrot Hide
Then I washed them with slightly thinned Mantis Warriors Green Once dry I then did this again but focused more on the center of the leaf.
I then added some thinned Blood Angels Red to the edges.
I painted a thin line down the center of each leaf with Hobgrot Hide as a vein for a little realism.
I based the rocks with a 1:1 mix of Rakarth Flesh and Neutral Grey
Then washed them with thinned Athonian Camoshade before a select wash of Agrax Earthshade focusing the Agrax around the darkest areas and lower parts of larger rocks.
Then I highlighted and edged the rocks with the base mix again.
