Gold

1. Basecoat with Retributor Armour . Strive to be neat, tidying up any mistakes with Wraithbone .
2. Shade with a 1:1 mix of Fyreslayer Flesh and Contrast Medium . Be careful to not let it pool too much but still let it settle in the recesses.
3. Layer with a 1:1 mix of Retributor Armour and Sycorax Bronze , leaving the recesses shaded. Thin this down a little more than normal to make the transition more gradual.
4. Edge highlight with 2:1 mix of Stormhost Silver and Retributor Armour . Make sure to hit all the edges you can but keep this fine. Tidy up with the previous step of you need to.
5. Spot highlight with Silver

Red Plumes and Robes

1. Layer all over with Blood Angels Red .
2. Do a fairly broad edge highlight with Evil Sunz Scarlet , thinned a bit more than usual.
3. Add a finer edge highlight of Wild Rider Red .
4. Add a very fine edge highlight of Fire Dragon Bright .
5. Do an all over coat of 6:1 Contrast Medium and Flesh Tearers Red .
6. Do a very selective highlight of Fire Dragon Bright to the sharpest details.

Black

1. Basecoat all the weapon casings, hoses, undersuit, with Black Legion . You will need two coats for an opaque finish.
2. Edge highlight the undersuit and hoses with Dark Reaper , and the weapon casings with Eshin Grey .
3. Add a finer edge highlight of Russ Grey on the hoses and undersuit, and Dawnstone on the weapon casings.
4. Add a spot highlight of Fenrisian Grey on the hoses and undersuit, and Administratum Grey on the weapon casings.

Silver

1. Basecoat gunmetal and silver details with Iron Warriors .
2. Shade with a coat of Basilicanum Grey .
3. Layer with Leadbelcher , avoiding the recesses. Keep this thin so the transition isn't too stark.
4. Edge highlight with Silver .

Leather

1. Base with a coat of Cygor Brown .
2. Edge highlight with Wazdakka Red .
3. Add a finer edge highlight of Squig Orange .
4. Spot highlight with Ungor Flesh .

Gems

1. Basecoat with Stegadon Scale Green .
2. Add a crescent shaped layer with Ahriman Blue in the portion opposite of the light source (I usually just go with the lowest portion relative to the ground).
3. Inside the previous crescent, add a smaller crescent of Baharroth Blue .
4. Add a small dot of Bold Titanium White in the upper area.
5. Optional: add a layer of Ardcoat .
