- Prime with Mephiston Red
Armour
Armour
- Base the model with a 1:1 mix of Mephiston Red and Evil Sunz Scarlet . Make sure to thin this down and apply a few coats where needed.
- Black out pieces of armour that will not be red with Abaddon Black
- With a Khorne Red glaze, shade the lower parts of the armour.
- Then with a 1:1 mix of Khorne Red and Incubi Darkness , paint into recess and panel lines. You can reapply the armour mix if you go over in any spots.
- Glaze the Mephiston Red and Evil Sunz Scarlet mix, and blend in the Khorne Red glaze, pushing the brush upwards.
- Apply a chunky edge highlight of Evil Sunz Scarlet
- Using Evil Sunz Scarlet again, glaze the higher areas of the armour that are shaded with the Khorne Red glaze.
- Edge highlight next with Wild Rider Red
- Focus on the edges of the armour and edge highlight with Fire Dragon Bright
- Focus Ungor Flesh on the sharpest edges.
- Lastly, lightly edge highlight with White Scar
Undersuit
- Add fine edge highlights along all ridges with Dawnstone
- Highlight selectively with Administratum Grey
Lenses
- Base coat with Warpstone Glow
- Highlight with a 1:1 mix of Warpstone Glow / Moot Green .
- Follow with Moot Green to the lower of the lense.
- Add White Scar to the Moot Green and add a final highlight
- Glaze Caliban Green into the upper areas on the lense.
- And finally, add a White Scar dot to the top.
Weapon
Metal Parts
- Cover the metal parts of the gun in Leadbelcher
- Add a shade using Nuln Oil
- Highlight the metal areas with Stormhost Silver
Casing
- Highlight the edges of the cases with Eshin Grey
- Add further edge highlighting with Dawnstone
- Finally apply Administratum Grey to the very edges
