How to paint this miniature from the TTCombat game "Carnevale". This model is from the Strigoi faction.
Pale Skin
- Basecoat with Rakarth Flesh .
- Add general shading to the skin with some thinned Knight-questor Flesh . I do this with a mix of traditional recess shading and glazes on downward facing bits of skin too.
- Define deep recesses with thin lines and more refined glazes of Doombull Brown .
- Highlight with1:1 Rakarth Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh .
- Highlgiht w=more selectively with Pallid Wych Flesh .
- Finish with very small/specular highlights of White .
Werewolf Fur/Hair
- Basecoat with Baneblade Brown .
- Wash the skin with 1:1 Stormvermin Fur and Lahmian Medium .
- Wash the skin further with some heavily thinned 1:1 Abaddon Black and Stormvermin Fur . Be very careful this time, pulling the pigment toward recesses and leaving a thin line of the mix where the skin meets the skin.
- Overbrush with 1:1 Stormvermin Fur and Administratum Grey , picking out strands/
- Highlight the strands more selectively with Administratum Grey .
- Mix some White into your Administratum Grey and add a few very small highlights. Finishing with specular highlights where needed.

- Basecoat Black .
- Highlight folds with Eshin Grey .
- Edge highlight with Dawnstone .
- Highlight more selectively with Administratum Grey .
Black Leather
- Bascoat with Black .
- Glaze exposed areas with an equal parts mix of Abaddon Black , Dark Reaper and Kantor Blue , pulling your brush towards where you will build up highlights.
- Add highlights of Dark Reaper .
- Apply fine highlights of 1:1 Dark Reaper and Grey Seer .
- Selectively highlight with 1:2 Dark Reaper and :Citadel/GreySeer.
- Finish with specular highlights of pure Grey Seer where needed.

- Basecoat with 1:2 Black and Barak-Nar Burgundy .
- Highlight with 1:1 Barak-Nar Burgundy and Khorne Red .
- Add fine highlights of Khorne Red .
- Mix a little Ice Yellow into your Khorne Red and selectively highlight.
- Increase the amount of Ice Yellow in the mix and finish with a few specular highlights.
Grey Cloth
- Basecoat with Skavenblight Dinge .
- Shade with a thin mix of Skavenblight Dinge and Black .
- Highlight with Stormvermin Fur .
- Mix Administratum Grey into your Stormvermin Fur and highlight. I would recommend doing a few passes of this, increasing the amount of Administratum Grey each time.
- Finish with a few specular Administratum Grey highlights.
Drab Leather
- Basecoat with 2:1 Abaddon Black and Dryad Bark .
- Highlight with Dryad Bark .
- Mix Screaming Skull into your Dryad Bark and highlight more selectively. I would recommend doing a few passes of this, increasing the amount of Screaming Skull each time.

- Finish with small Silver RLM01 Metallic edge highlights.
Rubble
- Basecoat with Black .
- Overbrush with Dryad Bark covering everything but the deepest recesses.
- Overbrush again, but a little lighter. This time use Baneblade Brown and aim to get a thin scratchy layer over most of the exposed surfaces.
- Now drybrush with Karak Stone making sure raised details and textures are hit.
- Glaze Skavenblight Dinge over rounder stones and loose rubble, ignoring the bricks.
- Drybrush selectively, hitting only hard edges, using Ushabti Bone .
- Drybrush lightly with Pallid Wych Flesh , essentially just grazing the top surface.
