This is a modified recipe based upon Sorastro's SW: Painting Guide Ep. X: Speeder Bikes.

Prime

Prime whole model with standard zenithal highlights (black/grey/white)

Paint

Bike: Body

Basecoat with Flat Brown
Drybrush with 3:2 Iraqi Sand and Refractive Green
Wash/Shade with Agrax Earthshade

Bike: Metal parts

Basecoat with 1:1 Black and Gunmetal Grey
Drybrush with : 1:1 Gunmetal Grey and Silver

Bike: Seat

Basecoat with 1:1 Black and Ocean Gray

Bike: Bedroll

Basecoat with Bone White with a touch of Yellow Ochre

I got into wargaming in the late 80s with Warhammer Fantasy Battle 3 Ed. while also being heavily involved in AD&D, at a time when miniatures were used in RPGs but not like they are today. My primary focus is now historical AWI, Star Wars Legion, and Battletech, along with some fantasy including D$D 5e on the side.
