Not gonna lie, I was aiming for a medieval ninja here. I think he pulls it off, without looking out of place in the setting.

Black Cloak

  1. Basecoat with Black .
  2. Drybrush heavily with 1:1 Corvus Black and Dark Reaper .
  3. Drybrush more lightly with Dark Reaper concentrating on hitting edges.
  4. Apply fine edge highlights along all easily accessible edges with 1:1 Dark Reaper and Deepkin Flesh .
  5. Increase the amount of Deepkin Flesh in the mix to roughly 1:1. Now selectively highlight pronounced edges.
  6. Now add very small highlights with 1:1 Deepkin Flesh and Grey Seer .

Blue-Grey Robes

  1. Basecoat with 1:1 Dark Reaper and Stormvermin Fur .
  2. Mix 1:1 Rhinox Hide and Kantor Blue , THEN take a blob and mix it into your basecoat. Use this mix to add soft shading in the folds.
  3. With the pure Rhinox Hide and Kantor Blue mix, enhance the shading when the folds are particularly deep.
  4. Highlight with an equal parts mix of Stormvermin Fur and Dawnstone .
  5. More selectively highlight with Dawnstone and Screaming Skull , mixed 1:1.
  6. Finish with a few small Screaming Skull highlights.

Arm Wraps

  1. Basecoat with Steel Legion Drab .
  2. Shade between the wrapping with thinned Rhinox Hide and a thin brush.
  3. Glaze raised areas with Karak Stone , dragging your brush upwards.
  4. Edge highlight wrappings with Ushabti Bone .
  5. More selectively highlight with Screaming Skull .
  6. Mix some :white into your Screaming Skull and highlight a little smaller.

I used this same recipe for the face mask. Then just highlighted the stitches with the brightest colour, and finished them with specular White highlights.

Skin

  1. Basecoat with Cadian Fleshtone .
  2. Wash with 2:1 Reikland Fleshshade and Contrast Medium .
  3. Selectively highlight with Kislev Flesh .
  4. Finish with specular highlights of Pallid Wych Flesh .

Dark Brown Leather

  1. Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
  2. Take some thinned Mournfang Brown and apply a heavy glaze over the tube. Work in rough lines, always pulling your brush towards the apex of the tube.
  3. Now with Skrag Brown , apply a chunky highlight down the most exposed part of the tube, covering less area that the previous stage.
  4. Mix 1:1 Skrag Brown and Ushabti Bone and repeat the above, but make it a finer highlight.
  5. Selectively highlight with Ushabti Bone .
  6. Add a little White to the Ushabti Bone and add a couple of specular highlights, where needed.

Gold Detail

  1. Mix a little Silver RLM01 Metallic into Retributor Armour and basecoat the handles of the blades.
  2. Wash with Reikland Fleshshade .
  3. Increase the amount of Silver RLM01 Metallic in the Retributor Armour , then apply selective highlights.
  4. Finish with a few specular Silver RLM01 Metallic highlights.

Blades

  1. Basecoat with Leadbelcher .
  2. Wash with Nuln Oil .
  3. Mix some Silver RLM01 Metallic into your Leadbelcher , then highlight close to the tip (on the flat sides) and edge highlight the rest.
  4. With pure Silver RLM01 Metallic , edge highlight the tip and place a few specular highlights on corners.
