- Prime Mechanicus Standard Grey
- Heavy drybrush (not so dry, keep a litte more paint than usual), of Administratum Grey over the whole base, catch the edges and add texture to the flat ground tiles.
- Drybrush (with slighlty less paint than the previous step) of Ulthuan Grey , again, catch the edges and add a bit of texture over flat surfaces
- Wash with a mix 3:1:1 of Dark Tone Strong Tone and water, respectivly.
