- Prime with a deep, dark brown. I used Hyrax Brown
- Overbrush the shoulderpads and chestplate with Old Copper , then mix in a little Garnet Alchemy for some general highlights.
- Overbrush the helmet with Necro Gold , then mix in a little Moonstone Alchemy for a light drybrush on the raised surfaces.
- Basecoat the undershirt/trousrs with Eclipse Grey , the skirt, gloves and boots with Doombull Brown , the galloshes and belt with Rhinox Hide , and the fur cloak with Rakarth Flesh . Also pick out the tools/weapons with Black Metal
- Wash the cloak with Agrax Earthshade , the body and helmet with Reikland Fleshshade , and the tools/grey undersuit with Basilicanum Grey . When they're dry, give the previously Doombull'd armour another coat to darken it further.
- Highlight the cloak with Baneblade Brown , then Screaming Skull . When dry, knock back the highlights with a Reikland Fleshshade glaze.
- Using thinned Gorthor Brown , highlight the areas we previously basecoated with Rhinox Hide .
- Add a touch of Baneblade Brown to some Eclipse Grey , then use this to highlight the undersuit.
- Add a touch of Baneblade Brown to some Doombull Brown , and use this to weather/highlight the apron.
- Add some Heavy Metal to Old Copper , and highlight the chestpiece. Use straight Heavy Metal to pick out the belt details and highlight the tools.
- For the base, I just covered it with AK netural rough terrain diorama paste, then when dry coated it in a mix of Vallejo Rust and Old Rust pigment powder. Sealed with alcohol and rim with Corvus Black
