How I painted this tiny wrestler from the "Brutally Devious Shadow Mania" team for Rumbleslam. Be sure to check out my guide for the full team, if you want to see the other members.

Blue Skin

1. Basecoat with Russ Grey .
2. Soft shade with 2:1 Russ Grey and Abaddon Black .
3. Enhance the shading with 1:2 Russ Grey and Abaddon Black .
4. Glaze highlight with 2:1 Russ Grey and Ushabti Bone .
5. Add fine highlights of :1:2 Russ Grey and Ushabti Bone ..
6. Finish with very small/specular highlights of Flayed One Flesh .

Dark Blue Scales

1. Basecoat with Night Lords Blue .
2. Shade recesses with thin lines of Abaddon Black .
3. Add chunky highlights with 2:1 Night Lords Blue and Ushabti Bone .
4. Add fine highlights with 1:2 Night Lords Blue and Ushabti Bone .
5. Finish with very small/specular highlights of Screaming Skull .

Wing Membranes

1. Basecoat with Screamer Pink .
2. Shade the recess where the membrane meets the blue shin with thin Naggaroth Night .
3. With a 1:1 mix of Screamer Pink and Pink Horror cover most of the skin with a thick glaze. Pulling paint towards the centre, covering most of the basecoat.
4. With a 1:1 mix of Pink Horror and Kislev Flesh , pick out lines running down the membrane.
5. With pure Kislev Flesh paint thinner lines within the last stage, getting a little thicker where the light would hit and on the ragged bits of skin.
6. Finish with very small Flayed One Flesh highlights.

Getting this skin to look natural on the first attempt can be tricky. If you are unsatisfied at any point, consider thinning a previous colour, glaze the skin down, then re-highlight.

Black Claws

1. Basecoat with Black .
2. Edge highlight with Stormvermin Fur .
3. Mix your Stormvermin Fur 1:1 with Ushabti Bone and highlight towards the tip.
4. Finish with a specular Screaming Skull highlight on the tip.

Black Cloth/Leather

1. Basecoat with Black .
2. Apply chunky highlights and glazes with Stegadon Scale Green .
3. Now highlight again, with Thunderhawk Blue .
4. Selectively highlight with Fenrisian Grey .
5. Finish with very small/specular highlights of Blue Horror . In select places, a specular highlight of White works well too, but don't do it all over.

White Trim

1. Basecoat with a 1:1 mix of Celestra Grey and White .
2. If needed, shade with some thin Administratum Grey .
3. Enhance the shading with Dawnstone in very select places.
4. Highlight with White .

Purple Cloth

1. Basecoat with a 1:1 mix of Naggaroth Night and Screamer Pink .
2. Shade with thinned Abaddon Black where needed.
3. Apply chunky highlights and glazes with pure Screamer Pink .
4. Highlight with 2:1 Screamer Pink and Ushabti Bone .
5. Highlight more selectively with 1:2 Screamer Pink and Ushabti Bone .
6. Finish with specular highlights using Screaming Skull .
