Preparation

  1. Prime Black with Black

Gold Undercoat

  1. Use Glorious Gold to Drybrush the Armour
  2. Start buffing the gold with a mix of Glorious Gold and increasing amounts of Aluminum
  3. Going over the Details that are supposed to be gold in the end with Liquitex Gold Ink

Blue Leather

  1. Basecoat with 2 parts Night Blue 2 parts Glaze Medium and 1 part Black Grey
  2. Slowly buffing up the leather with first Night Blue and then increasing amounts of Blue Grey Pale

Red Armour

  1. Mix 1 Flesh Tearers Red with 1 Glaze Medium
  2. Edge Highlight with Aluminum immediately go over highlighted areas with a dry brush to ake parts off again
  3. Make a Blue Wash out of Night Blue and Glaze Medium 1:1 and panel-line/bring out shadows
  4. This will look very bloody till fully dry!

Details

  1. Fix Up Black Details with Black Grey
  2. Fix Up Gold with Glorious Gold : and a light detail of Strong Tone
  3. Leather Straps are painted with Black Grey Elf Green 2:1 in the lower half and Black Grey Pale Grey Blue 1:1 in the upper half.
  4. Backdisplay with Flat Green to about Flat Green Daemonic Yellow 1:1
  5. Bottom of the coat is painted with random splotches of Vallejo Thick Mud mixed with some Elf Green to match swamp base
