Armour

1. Basecoat with Mephiston Red , then shade all over with 3:1 Contrast Medium : Flesh Tearers Red . Brighten back up with Mephiston Red , edge highlight all round with Evil Sunz Scarlet , edge highlight sharper areas with Wild Rider Red and add a point highlight with Fire Dragon Bright . Finally, shade all over with 5:1 Contrast Medium : Flesh Tearers Red

Barding

1. Over Chaos Black undercoat, apply Flesh Tearers Red all over. Edge highlight with Khorne Red , then edge highlight sharper areas with Squig Orange . Add a point highlight using Bestigor Flesh . Finally, shade all over with 5:1 Contrast Medium : Flesh Tearers Red

Cloth

1. Basecoat with Incubi Darkness . Shade with Nuln Oil and then brighten back up with Incubi Darkness . Apply two highlights of heavily thinned down Kabalite Green then two highlights of heavily thinned down Sybarite Green . Shade all over with 5:1 Contrast Medium : Terradon Turquoise and add a final highlight of Sybarite Green .

Silver

1. Basecoat with Leadbelcher . Shade with Nuln Oil . Edge highlight with Iron Hands Steel and Stormhost Silver .

Gold

1. Basecoat with Retributor Armour , but note it may take 2 or 3 coats to get coverage over black [potentially basecoat here with Kabalite Green ?!]. Shade with Agrax Earthshade and edge highlight with Retributor Armour . Highlight with Liberator Gold . Apply a heavily thinned shade of Coelia Greenshade and then a final point highlight of Stormhost Silver .

Bone (Nightmare head) & Hooves

1. For anything bone, which is usually just the head but sometimes there are some bone spurs on the horse's legs, basecoat with Morghast Bone and shade with Skeleton Horde . Highlight with Ushabti Bone , Screaming Skull , then Wraithbone . For the hooves, basecoat with Rakarth Flesh , shade with Agrax Earthshade , then add small vertical lines of Rakarth Flesh .

Leather

1. Basecoat with Thondia Brown and shade with Agrax Earthshade . Highlight with Doombull Brown then Tuskgor Fur . [Not happy with this mix!]

Horse skin

1. Basecoat all over with Corvus Black and apply a highlight of first Skavenblight Dinge then Stormvermin Fur . Shade all over with a 2.5 : 1 Contrast Medium : Black Templar mix.

Vampire Skin

1. If any is showing!!
