A fairly conventional method I use to paint the weapons of my Salamanders, with bluish highlights to distinguish them from their black armour.

1. Basecoat in Eshin Grey
2. Add volumetric highlights and edge highlights with Dark Reaper
3. Edge highlight with Thunderhawk Blue
4. Add edge highlights with a 1:1 mix of Thunderhawk Blue and Glacier Blue
5. Shade the lower areas and add recess shades with Black Templar or Nuln Oil (or any watered-down black paint
