- Prime Hyrax Brown
- Drybrush Black Metal then Thrash Metal
- Wash mini with Basilicanum Grey
- Coat the wings with Vampiric Flesh basecoat. Drybrush with a light tone like Ice Yellow or Matt White
- Coat the eyes with Dirty Red
- Coat the wings with Gryph-hound Orange - when dry, drybrush Ice Yellow for a small highlight on the extremities.
- Coat select parts of the carapace with Drakenhof Nightshade to add a blue tint.
- Base is just Rival Crafts' forest floor. Tree stump is AK Rotbraun shaded; the egg I just kinda left vaguely metallic.
