- Basecoat the mud and dirt with Rhinox Hide
- Basecoat metallic areas with Leadbelcher
- Basecoat stone and concrete with Dawnstone
- Shade stone and metal using Nuln Oil
- Shade the whole base using Agrax Earthshade
- Rust metal using a drybrush/stipple of Skrag Brown
- Edge highlight, scratch and lightly drybrush metallics using Leadbelcher
- Very lightly drybrush and stipple with Abaddon Black
- Highlight the stone and concrete using Dawnstone
- Drybrush mud and dirt with Rhinox Hide
- Drybrush mud and dirt with Gorthor Brown
- Lightly drybrush the mud and dirt with Steel Legion Drab
- Use a mud weathering powder to finish.
