Ghost trails/Arms/Heads
- Airbrush - Prime Vallejo Black
- Airbrush - Lupercal Green onto ghostly robes
- Airbrush - Sons of Horus Green onto lower half of ghostly robes towards the ground, with the same colour zenithally highlight face and arms
- Airbrush - Gauss Blaster Green onto the very tips of the ghostly robes, with the same colour zenithally highlight face and arms, catching only highest areas
Cloaks
- Basecoat - Black
- Sponge Stipple - Stipple over 1:1 mix of Black and Russ Grey all over the cloak
- Sponge Stipple - Stipple over 1:4 mix of Black and Russ Grey only on the upper areas leaving darker shaddows
- Sponge Stipple - Stipple over Russ Grey very diluted to glaze consistency, only on the very upper areas sparingly
- Highlight - create small scratches with Russ Grey to add visual interest
Wooden Handle
- Basecoat - Use Baneblade Brown to basecoat the wood
- Highlight - Add woodgrain effect with 1:1 mix of Baneblade Brown and White running up and down the handle
- Wash - Stain the wood with a dark wash, I used 1:4 mix of Cygor Brown and Lahmian Medium
- Wash - I then did a final wash of Athonian Camoshade to make the wood look a little rotten
Rusted Metal
- Basecoat - Black
- Sponge Stipple - Use Dirty Down rust stippled over in a random pattern, leave to fully dry (a few hours) and then apply a second layer
- Sponge Stipple - In areas left black stipple over any dark metal, I used Vallejo Premium Airbrush Dark Metal
- Highlight - Using the brightest silver, I used Duraluminum , edge highlight and create scratches in the metal
Base
- Basecoat - Apply Grey Earth Fine
- Basecoat - Any rocks of gravestones base with 1:4 mix of Black and Russ Grey
- Wash - Athonian Camoshade
- Drybrush - Russ Grey
- Drybrush - White
- Effects - Using Snow Blue to put snow patchy over the base and on top of any rocks or scenery
