Yellow-Green Ork skin for batch painting.

  1. Base-Coat with a mix Goblinoid Green and Yellow Oxide , leaning more towards the green. Use two coats to have a reasonably (but not perfect) starting layer. Keep the mix around for later glazes.
  2. Add a coat of Ghillie Dew speed paint to shade the recesses. Hit it with a heat gun on low to instantly dry the Speed Paint.
  3. Glaze the Goblinoid Green and Yellow Oxide mix to re-introduce the midtones.
  4. Mix some Dark Ivory into the main Green mix and start to push highlights on the skin.
  5. For the fleshy areas; lips, nose, ears, knuckles, veins, elbows, & embedded metals, mix Dark Warm Flesh and Dark Hot Pink into some of the base Green mix. Glaze this onto the fleshy bits. Tend towards pure Dark Warm Flesh for the highlights.
  6. Glaze the base Goblinoid Green and Yellow Oxide to blend everything together as needed. Add final highlights using the Dark Ivory mixes.
