Red Skin

1. Basecoat with Khorne Red .
2. Shade with a thin mix of 1:1 Khorne Red and Rhinox Hide .
3. Glaze upward facing areas with Evil Sunz Scarlet .
4. Highlight using Tuskgor Fur .
5. Add fine highlights of 1:1 Tuskgor Fur and Fire Dragon Bright .
6. Selectively highlight with pure Fire Dragon Bright .
7. Add specular highlights with 1:1 Fire Dragon Bright .
8. Ordinarily, I would advise sticking to the face and very pointed areas with these highlights. However, here I coverred all of the skin with them in areas that would catch light. Then, i glazed them back down with some very thin Khorne Red . This is simply because I wanted to go the extra mile with this iconic model, and it is far from necessary.

Eyes

1. Basecoat with Caliban Green .
2. Highlight with Warpstone Glow .
3. Highlight more selectively with Moot Green .
4. Finish with a specular Ice Yellow (or Dorn Yellow ) highlight.

Tongue

1. Basecoat with Screamer Pink .
2. Shade with Druchii Violet .
3. Highlight with Pink Horror .
4. Mix some Kislev Flesh into the Pink Horror and highlight more selectively.
5. Finish with very small Kislev Flesh highlights.

Teeth

1. Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
2. Pick out individual teeth with XV-88 .
3. Highlight with Ushabti Bone .
4. Highlight more selectively with Screaming Skull .
5. Finish with specular Wraithbone highlights on the tips of the most well defined teeth.

Wing Transition

1. Basecoat with 1:1 Khorne Red and Rhinox Hide .
2. Basecoat: Rhinox Hide & Khorne Red 1:1
   Layer: Khorne Red
   Highlight: Khorne Red & Squig Orange 1:1
   Highlight: Squig Orange

Wing Membranes

1. Basecoat with Black .
2. Basecoat: Black
   Highlight: Stegadon Scale Green
   Highlight: Stegadon Scale Green & Sons of Horus Green 1:1
   Highlight: Sons of Horus Green & Karak Stone 1:1

Leather Whip

1. Basecoat with 1:1 Incubi Darkness and Black .
2. Basecoat: Incubi Darkness
   Glaze: Black & Incubi Darkness
   Wash: Black
   Highlight: Incubi Darkness & Karak Stone
   Highlight: Incubi Darkness & Karak Stone 1:2
   Highlight: Karak Stone & White 1:1

Brazen Armour

1. Basecoat: Warplock Bronze
   Highlight: Retributor Armour & Iron Warriors 1:1
   Highlight: Auric Armour Gold

Brass Trim

1. Basecoat: Canoptek Alloy
   Wash: Warplock Bronze & Retributor Armour 1:1
   Recess Wash: Rhinox Hide
   Glaze: Warplock Bronze
   Highlight: Auric Armour Gold & Liberator Gold
