Robes

  1. Basecoat with 2:1 Wraithbone and Rakarth Flesh .
  2. Add general shading with some Karak Stone . I like o keep it think with some Lahmian Medium , making it easier to apply.
  3. Further define shading with a smaller amount of XV-88 .
  4. In very deep folds and to seperate the cloth from other materials, shade with 1:1 XV-88 and Rhinox Hide .
  5. Highlight with Wraithbone .
  6. Add finer highlights with 1:1 Wraithbone and White .
  7. Finish with selective White highlights.

Wicker

  1. Basecoat with Zandri Dust .
  2. Wash with an equal parts mix of Agrax Earthshade , Reikland Fleshshade and Lahmian Medium .

Wood

  1. Basecoat with Thondia Brown .
  2. Shade recesses and where the wood meets other materials with Rhinox Hide .
  3. Highlight with 2:1 Thondia Brown and Steel Legion Drab .
  4. Mix some Administratum Grey into the above paint and highlight more selectively.
  5. Finish with a few specular highlights of Administratum Grey .

Leather

  1. Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
  2. Overbrush with Doombull Brown , letting your brush hit all the edges and highlighing heavier in more exposed areas.
  3. Highlight selectively with XV-88 .
  4. Mix some Screaming Skull into your XV-88 and finish with some very small highlights.

Corpse Skin

  1. Basecoat with 1:1 Rakarth Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh .
  2. Mix Doombull Brown into the base colour slowly, and shade. Each time you add a little more, shade a smaller area, until you are shading the deepest parts with pure Doombull Brown .
  3. Highlight with an equal parts mix of Rakarth Flesh , Pallid Wych Flesh and White .
  4. Add more White to your previous colour, then highlight more selectively.
  5. Finish with a few dots of pure White where needed.

For the sake of completeness, I ran some very thin Naggaroth Night into the eye sockes. Then picked out the eyeballs with Administratum Grey , finishing them with specular White highlights.

Green Cloth

  1. Basecoat with Incubi Darkness .
  2. Mix in Administratum Grey to the Incubi Darkness and highlight. Repeating as necessary and highlighting increasingly selectively.

Bees!

  1. Basecoat with Tau Light Ochre .
  2. Wash with some Cygor Brown , thinned with a large amount of Contrast Medium . My mix was roughly 1:5.
  3. Pick out the bees by overbrushing with Balor Brown .
  4. Finish with specular highlights of Ice Yellow .
