Robes
- Basecoat with 2:1 Wraithbone and Rakarth Flesh .
- Add general shading with some Karak Stone . I like o keep it think with some Lahmian Medium , making it easier to apply.
- Further define shading with a smaller amount of XV-88 .
- In very deep folds and to seperate the cloth from other materials, shade with 1:1 XV-88 and Rhinox Hide .
- Highlight with Wraithbone .
- Add finer highlights with 1:1 Wraithbone and White .
- Finish with selective White highlights.
Wicker
- Basecoat with Zandri Dust .
- Wash with an equal parts mix of Agrax Earthshade , Reikland Fleshshade and Lahmian Medium .
Wood
- Basecoat with Thondia Brown .
- Shade recesses and where the wood meets other materials with Rhinox Hide .
- Highlight with 2:1 Thondia Brown and Steel Legion Drab .
- Mix some Administratum Grey into the above paint and highlight more selectively.
- Finish with a few specular highlights of Administratum Grey .
Leather
- Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
- Overbrush with Doombull Brown , letting your brush hit all the edges and highlighing heavier in more exposed areas.
- Highlight selectively with XV-88 .
- Mix some Screaming Skull into your XV-88 and finish with some very small highlights.
Corpse Skin
- Basecoat with 1:1 Rakarth Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh .
- Mix Doombull Brown into the base colour slowly, and shade. Each time you add a little more, shade a smaller area, until you are shading the deepest parts with pure Doombull Brown .
- Highlight with an equal parts mix of Rakarth Flesh , Pallid Wych Flesh and White .
- Add more White to your previous colour, then highlight more selectively.
- Finish with a few dots of pure White where needed.
For the sake of completeness, I ran some very thin Naggaroth Night into the eye sockes. Then picked out the eyeballs with Administratum Grey , finishing them with specular White highlights.
Green Cloth
- Basecoat with Incubi Darkness .
- Mix in Administratum Grey to the Incubi Darkness and highlight. Repeating as necessary and highlighting increasingly selectively.
Bees!
- Basecoat with Tau Light Ochre .
- Wash with some Cygor Brown , thinned with a large amount of Contrast Medium . My mix was roughly 1:5.
- Pick out the bees by overbrushing with Balor Brown .
- Finish with specular highlights of Ice Yellow .
