Run some thin 1:1 Rhinox Hide and Black into deep recesses.
Now apply highlights with 2:1 Mournfang Brown and Zamesi Desert . Picking out the sculpted woodgrain further.
Finish with selective edge highlights of 1:2 Mournfang Brown & Zamesi Desert .
Blue Cloth
Basecoat with 1:1 Dark Reaper and Administratum Grey .
Shade with thinned Dark Reaper .
Mix a little Black into your dark reaper and shade particularly dark recesses.
Mix some additional Administratum Grey into your base colour and edge highlight.
Finally, add some White to the paint above and selectively highlight the cloth.
Red Cloth
Basecoat with Khorne Red .
Shade with 2:1 Khorne Red and Black .
Highlight with 1:1 Khorne Red and Mephiston Red .
Edge highlight with Evil Sunz Scarlet .
Finish with small highlights of Fire Dragon Bright .
Dark Green Cloth
Basecoat with Castellan Green .
Shade with some thinned Nocturne Green .
Highlight with Deathworld Forest .
Selectively highlight with Death Guard Green .
Finish with small highlights of Krieg Khaki .
Brown Trousers
Basecoat with Steel Legion Drab .
Shade with 1:1 Steel Legion Drab and Dryad Bark .
Highlight with Baneblade Brown .
Finish with selective highlights of Karak Stone .
Tan Trousers
Basecoat with Tallarn Sand .
Shade with 1:1 Tallarn Sand and Rhinox Hide .
Highlight with 1:1 Tallarn Sand and Screaming Skull .
Finish with selective Screaming Skull highlights.
Apron
basecoat with 1:1 Dryad Bark and Black .
Glaze/highlight with Dryad Bark .
Edge highlight with 1:2 Dryad Bark and Stormvermin Fur .
Mix some Karak Stone into the above paint and selectively highlight.
Leather
Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
Highlight with Thondia Brown , picking out all raised details.
Edge highlight with 1:2 Thondia Brown and XV-88 .
Mix some Karak Stone into the above paint and selectively highlight.
Dead Skin
Basecoat with Deck Tan .
Mix just a little of whatever colour you desire into your Deck Tan to add some interest and then add general shading. In these examples used Gal Vorbak Red , Nocturne Green and Naggaroth Night .
Increase the amount of your colour in the above mix, then enhance the shading, going a little heavier where the skin splits or meets other materials.
Finally mix some Skavenblight Dinge 1:1 into your last paint. Use this dark colour to apply very fine lines where the skin splits or meets other materials.
Mix White into some Deck Tan to build up highlights.
Finish with a few specular highlights of pure White , where needed.
