My version for the death guard patrol and kill team.
This is a work in progress and I haven't tried it yet. I write this to remember my intention and will update this recipe as I paint it.
Undercoat
- Prime the model in Chaos Black
- Dry brush heavily or use a sponge with Eshin Grey
- Dry brush more lightly with Celestra Grey
- Base the parchement in Ushabti Bone , the flesh in Rakarth Flesh , the maggots in Pallid Wych Flesh and the blue smoke in Thunderhawk Blue
- Dry brush very lightly and highlight the details if you want with White Scar
Green power armour
- Contrast Dark Angels Green
Red cloth
- Contrast Sigvald Burgundy
Bone / Teeth
- Contrast Skeleton Horde
- Shade the tip of the hornes with Agrax Earthshade
Parchment
Already based in Ushabti Bone
- Trace fine lines with Abaddon Black
- Shade lightly with Seraphim Sepia
Green hoses
- Contrast Ork Flesh
Slime
- Contrast Striking Scorpion Green
- Add some light touch of Nurgles Rot
Gold
- Base Balthasar Gold
- Shade with Agrax Earthshade
- Add rust spots of Typhus Corrosion and Nihilakh Oxide
Brass
- Base Castellax Bronze
- Shade Agrax Earthshade
- Add rust with Nihilakh Oxide
Silver
- Base Iron Hands Steel ( Iron Warriors ?)
- Shade randomly with spots of Nuln Oil and Agrax Earthshade
- Add rust spots with Typhus Corrosion

- Contrast Snakebite Leather
Gun (black parts)
- Contrast Black Templar
Chaos sword
- Contrast with a mix 5:1 Talassar Blue and Dark Angels Green

- Base Incubi Darkness
- Edge highlight with Kabalite Green

- At the step 3 of the undercoat, base with Incubi Darkness
- After the white drybrush (step 4), contrast with Talassar Blue
Red plasma
- Base with Fire Dragon Bright
- Highlight the base of the coils with White Scar mixed with Contrast Medium 1:1
- Darken the top of the coils with Mephiston Red
- Eventually, add a little bit of Iyanden Yellow at the base of the coils to tint the white.
Mushroom
- Contrast Striking Scorpion Green
