- Prime the model with Chaos Black or Abaddon Black
- Dry brush over the whole model with Balthasar Gold
- Paint the chain plate/mail with Iron Warriors , add Wraithbone to any parchment or helmet plume
- Apply washes as follows: 1. Balthasar Gold with Seraphim Sepia :, 2. Iron Warriors and Wraithbone with Agrax Earthshade
- Edge highlight Balthasar Gold with Sycorax Bronze
- Highlight Wraithbone with Screaming Skull
- Base:
- Cover the base in Evil Sunz Scarlet
- Randomly stipple on Troll Slayer Orange and Fire Dragon Bright
- Add a highlight of Dorn Yellow
- Add a layer of Ardcoat
- Finally generously apply Mordant Earth and wait for it to crackle
- (optional) Primary fabrics i.e cloaks etc Incubi Darkness -> Biel-Tan Green -> Sons of Horus Green
- (optional) Secondary fabrics, i.e belts and tassels etc Daemonette Hide -> Druchii Violet -> Warpfiend Grey
