2. Kantor Blue Basecoat entire model, 2-3 thin coats
3. Drakenhof Nightshade Shade entire model
4. Black Basecoat in between armour panels (joints)
5. Kantor Blue Reapply colour on panels and raised areas
6. Faded Ultramarine Edge highlight armour
7. Brass Scorpion Basecoat helmet, Aquila, shoulder rim and other trim
8. Silver Edge highlight brass trim
9. Matt White Basecoat shoulder pads and left kneecap
10. Mephiston Red Rhinox Hide Make a mix of 2 parts Mephiston Red to 1 part Rhinox Hide. Apply transfers and/or freehand heraldry to shoulders and knee with matched colour
11. Mournfang Brown Basecoat leather satchels and pouches
12. Zandri Dust Edge highlight leather and create scratchy effect
13. Black Basecoat weapon
14. Silver Brass Scorpion Use metals to create interest in weapon on different areas
15. On a regular marine, coat the eye lenses in Matt White and then Aethermatic Blue . If this is a specialist or leader, paint the faceplate in Matt White then shade with Nuln Oil and the eyes in Mephiston Red , highlighting up to Evil Sunz Scarlet
16. Create base out of green stuff or clay and use patterned rolling pin for tile effect.
17. Wrack White Heavy drybrush over base to create imperium masonry base
18. Black Templar Shade base
19. Ulthuan Grey Layer back to bright 'white' masonry
20. Rich Gold Paint base gilded plates and/or inlays
21. Seraphim Sepia Shade gold of base
22. Black Paint base rim
