Greetings, you slimy, yacky stinkers ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜….
Let's paint some nurgly slime ๐Ÿคฎ

  1. Base Coat the parts you want to appear slimy with Corax White . Due to its chalkiness its best to thin the paint down with a medium like Contrast or Lahmian Medium and apply it in multiple layers.
  2. Next up is Waywatcher Green . Since the production of this paint is discontinued i will be using a replicated color recipe by Juan Hidalgo Miniatures. Mix: Vallejo Game Green Ink and Yellow Ink with a few drops of Lahmian Medium until you have a really thinned down consistency for glazing. Test it on a white sheet of paper before. If you are happy with the consistency start moving the paint from the bottom/outer tips of the object pulling the paint to the top/point closer to the body. With every new application start a little closer to the top building up a nice gradient. This can take up to 5-6 applications.
  3. Thin down Bilious Green from Nostalgia 88 until you have a satisfying glazing consistency like before. You can also use Moot Green . Start a little bit closer to the top, we want to have the bottom/ outmost parts be brighter than the parts on the top/ closer to the body. Repeat the glazing process like before until you are happy. I usually apply 3-4 four layers of Bilious Green.
  4. Next we glaze thinned down Drakenhof Nightshade on the most top parts to darken them down a little bit. Since Drakenhof Nightshade is already thinner down we donยดt need to add much Medium to thin it. Apply 3-4 layers to the top parts/ parts closest to the body. If you want to darken it more, you can also add 1-2 additional layers of Nuln Oil.
  5. For the final touch apply Nurgles Rot all over the object to get a really slimy appearance. Thin it down just a little bit. One layer of Nurgles rot is enough.
  6. Optional: Glaze with the Waywatcher Green mix around the slime to add an osl effect until you are happy with the result.
