How I paint my Nighthaunt armies

Core/body

1. Prime the model White
2. Wash all over with Hexwraith Flame
3. Airbrush or Drybrush Incubi Darkness onto the main body areas. Leave the Hexwraith Flame showing towards the extremities.
4. Recess wash with Drakenhof Nightshade
5. Drybrush Kabalite Green towards the extremeties.
6. Drybrush Sybarite Green on the edges.
7. Final highlight or drybrush with Gauss Blaster Green

Flames or Robes

1. Drybrush with Ulthuan Grey
2. Drybrush with White Scar

Silver with Rust

1. Base with Leadbelcher
2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade
3. Drybrush with Stormhost Silver
4. Water down Skrag Brown and wash it over the metal.
5. Highlight over the metal once again with Stormhost Silver

Ghost "Skin"

1. Base with Corax White
2. Wash with Nihilakh Oxide
3. Drybrush with Ulthuan Grey
4. Drybrush with White Scar

Hoods/Shrouds/Leather

1. Base with Rhinox Hide
2. Wash with Nuln Oil
3. Drybrush Doombull Brown
4. Drybrush with Baneblade Brown

Red Hood Trim

1. Base with Khorne Red
2. Wash with Carroburg Crimson
3. Highlight with Wild Rider Red

Bones

1. Base with Corax White
2. Wash with Seraphim Sepia
3. Highlight with Pallid Wych Flesh

There are many many ways of painting bone, this is a quick and easy version. Skeleton Horde is a fast alternative.

Candles

1. Base with Corax White
2. Wash with Seraphim Sepia

Bronze/Gold Trim

1. Base with Balthasar Gold
2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade
3. Drybrush Sycorax Bronze
4. Wash with Nihilakh Oxide (Optional)
