Based on idea from video

Planks

  1. Cut wooden stirrers in random lengths, and superglue them in a staggered patterns to the base.
  2. Depending on how worn the floor needs to look, you might use a hobby knive to add some notches / wear and tear and splinters.
  3. Basecoat with Chaos Black .
  4. Cover the wood in a brown of your choice, depending on tone. For image in description Rhinox Hide was used. Don't put it on too thick, so that the black still shows through in the texture of the wood.
  5. Cover in a thick layer or two of Agrax Earthshade , focussing on the joints of the planks.
  6. Finish off with a highlight / pattern of Bugman's Glow . Around the corners, gaps and edges, as well as some random areas to give the feeling of wear and tear.
