- Highlight more selectively with 1:1 Administratum Grey and White .
Black Cloth
- Basecoat with 1:1 Black and Naggaroth Night .
- Shade recesses with Black .
- Glaze raised areas with the base colour mixed 1:1 with Eshin Grey .
- Repeat, coverring a smaller area with just Eshin Grey .
- Apply chunky highlights with Stormvermin Fur . These are best applied with a series of scratchy lines.
- Mix your Stormvermin Fur 1:1 with Administratum Grey , then add in fine edge highlights.
- Highlight selectively with pure Administratum Grey .
- Finish with a few very small highlights of 1:1 Administratum Grey and White .
You could definitely simplify this method and leave out the glazing. However, I wanted an interesting cloak that I could also use on my Chorister too. With there not being much call to use this colour on the troopers, I think it is worth the effort to tie the whole force together.

Full transparency, these masks are pretty small. So I typically thin my initial shade colour heavily, then apply it as an all over wash. This means you will have to re-establish the Administratum Grey before proceeding with highlights though.
