This is my take on the colour scheme of the Eight Stolen Truths, a splinter warband of the Alpha Legion.

The main colours are green and grey.

General Information:

My general method is to lay down all the base colours for the model, then do all the shading in the recesses before moving on to the highlights.

I don't own an airbrush so the recipe will mainly consist of Games Workshop spray cans and brush on paints.

Priming:

1. Prime the model with Mechanicus Standard Grey

Green (Armour Panels):

1. Base with Incubi Darkness
2. Shade the recesses with Nuln Oil
3. Lightly layer upper facing areas with thinned Kabalite Green
4. Add a fine highlight of Sybarite Green

Grey (Armour Trim):

1. Base with Mechanicus Standard Grey
2. Shade the recesses and around any rivets with Nuln Oil
3. Highlight fine points and sharp edges with Dawnstone
4. Add a fine highlight of Administratum Grey to sharp corners

Silver (Details - Chains, Gun Barrels, Vents):

For grenades, replace Nuln Oil with Athonian Camoshade

1. Base with Leadbelcher
2. Shade the recesses with Nuln Oil
3. Highlight the edges with Stormhost Silver
4. Add a rust effect with thinned Skrag Brown

Pink (Details - Cloth, Wraps):

1. Base with Screamer Pink
2. Shade the recesses with Agrax Earthshade
3. Highlight the edges with Pink Horror
4. Add fine points with Cadian Fleshtone

Black (Details - Gun Casing, Armour Ribbing, Cables):

1. Base with Abaddon Black
2. Highlight the edges with Eshin Grey
3. Highlight fine points and sharp edges with Administratum Grey

Brown (Details - Leather Pouches):

1. Base with Rhinox Hide
2. Shade the recesses with Agrax Earthshade
3. Roughly highlight the edges with Skrag Brown
4. Add a fine highlight with Ushabti Bone

Blue (Details - Lenses):

1. Base with Sotek Green
2. Shade over with Nuln Oil
3. Layer the middle with Temple Guard Blue
4. Add a fine highlight of Baharroth Blue mixed 1:1 with White Scar

Gold (Details - Bullets):

1. Base with Retributor Armour
2. Shade the recesses with Agrax Earthshade
3. Highlight the edges with Stormhost Silver
