I used the 'Witch Hunter Mounted' model from Signum Games for this colour scheme. I have always been a fan of the Witcher and the opportunity to paint my own interpretation of Geralt of Rivia was too good to turn down. Caucasian Skin
- Basecoat with pure Cadian Fleshtone .
- Now, just slap some Reikland Fleshshade over the skin.
- Darken some Doombull Brown with a little Abaddon Black and shade the area just around the eyeball on the face, framing the eye.
- Reestablish the basecoat Cadian Fleshtone on raised/exposed areas, in preparation for highlights.
- Gradually add Wraithbone to the mix, highlighting smaller and smaller areas. You should eventually be adding highlights of pure Wraithbone .
Grey Hair
- Basecoat with Corax White .
- Go over the hair with a layer of Apothecary White .
- Darken any deeper recesses with a thin line of wattered down Skavenblight Dinge .
- Lighted some strands with a pure white, like White Scar , where needed.
Black Leather Torso
- Basecoat: Dryad Bark & Black 1:1
Shade: Black
Highlight: Dryad Bark
Highlight: Stormvermin Fur
Highlight: Stormvermin Fur & Deepkin Flesh 1:1
Dot Highlights: Deepkin Flesh
Grey Sleeves
- Basecoat: Administratum Grey
Shade: Dawnstone
Line Shade: Eshin Grey
Highlight: Administratum Grey/White
Highlight: Add White to previous mix
Teal Cape
- Basecoat: Incubi Darkness
Shade: Incubi Darkness / Black 1:1
Smooth out: Incubi Darkness
Highlight: Incubi Darkness / Screaming Skull 1:1
Highlight: Incubi Darkness / Screaming Skull 1:2
Final highlight: Screaming Skull
Brown Leather
- Basecoat with Mournfang Brown .
- Wash with Agrax Earthshade .
- Apply chunky highlights pf Skrag Brown .
- Now do some fine edge highlights of Tau Light Ochre .
- Selectively edge highlight corners and curvers with Karak Stone .
- Mix some White Scar into the Karak Stone and apply specular highlights to corners, where the leather would be super worn.
Trousers
- Basecoat: Dark Reaper
Shade: Corvus Black
Highlight: Dark Reaper & Administratum Grey
Highlight: Administratum Grey
Armour Panels
- Basecoat with Leadbelcher .
- Wash with Nuln Oil .
- Pick out raised details with Ironbreaker .
- Finish off with small dots of Stormhost Silver or another lighter silver, I like :Vallejo Model Air Silver RLM01 Metallic .
Dark brown Leather Trim
- Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
- Chunky edge highlight with Doombull Brown .
- Fine edge highlights with XV-88 .
- Selectively highlight corners and curvers with Screaming Skull .
Roach Coat
- Basecoat raised and upward facing durfaces with Mournfang Brown and anythign facing downwards with Rhinox Hide .
- Glaze and stille highlights of Skrag Brown .
- Now add increasing amounts of Ushabti Bone to the Skrag Brown and repeat the above step, coverring an even smaller area.
Roach Hair
- Basecoat with Abaddon Black .
- Pick out strands of hair with a 1:1 mix of Abaddon Black and Skavenblight Dinge .
- Fine edge highlight all of the accessible edges with pure Skavenblight Dinge .
- Selectively edge highlight curves with Stormvermin Fur .
Pale Leather Pouches
- Basecoat with a 1:1 mix of Wraithbone and Karak Stone .
- Wash with Agrax Earthshade , thinned with an equal amount of Contrast Medium .
- Edge highlight with Pallid Wych Flesh .
- Finish off with fine edge highlights of White Scar or another pure white.
Roach Hooves
- Basecoat with Abaddon Black .
- Mix in some Russ Grey grey and establish some lines.
- Do fine lines within the last stage with pure Russ Grey .
