How I do my 40k Sons Of Horus.
  - Chaos Black Underocat then zenithal with Grey Seer
 - Sons of Horus Green Basecoat all the armor
 - Black Legion Apply to all the available joints
 - Decayed Metal Basecoat all the trim
 - Black Metal Basecoat all the silver metallic parts(Weapons, the thing they have on thee chest, chainmail bottoms)
 - A mix of 1:5 Terradon Turquoise : Contrast Medium shade all over all the parts with Sons of Horus Green
 - A 1:1 mix of Decayed Metal : Peridot Alchemy on most of the trim leaving some of the original Decayed Metal to show through
 - Any leather pouches is just a basecoat of Bold Titanium White and then a single coat of Garaghak's Sewer , and then highlight with any brown you have I use Mournfang Brown because its all I have on hand
 - Corvus Black The nonmetallic parts on the gun and handles for weapon, touch up any joints that may have been hit the the trim color, and the black straps on the pouch and around the leg
 - Grenades are done with a single layer of Militarum Green and Black Metal for the pin
 - Cloth is done with a basecoat of Bold Titanium White and then a coat of Sigvald Burgundy , and when its dry a wash of Carroburg Crimson you can then edge highlight with Wazdakka Red
 - Any bone parts are a basecoat of Zandri Dust , then a wash of Agrax Earthshade : then a light Ushabti Bone dry brush
 - Any little eyes on the armor are basecoat Bold Titanium White then a layer of Blood Angels Red , a black line down the middle with Corvus Black , in the corner add Fire Dragon Bright and a couple dots of Flash Gitz Yellow near the eye in the center
 - Eye lenses are basecoated with Bold Titanium White then a layer of Blood Angels Red and a light highlight of Fire Dragon Bright
 - Edge highlight the trim with a very light layer of Peridot Alchemy and any of the armor with pure Sons of Horus Green ( Sybarite Green may be a better option)
 - Wash any of the silver metallic bits with either Nuln Oil or if you want something to pop more a 1:5 mix of Black Legion : Contrast Medium
 - The last step is I coat in an enamel wash to get that grimdark look but you can skip that
