How I painted the mounts for my Morbheg Knights.

  1. Primed black
  2. Beige all over the top of the skin
  3. Dark Rust on the underbelly and the feet(claws?hands?)
  4. Drybrush Pale Sand over the Beige
  5. drybrush Tuskgor Fur over the Dark Rust
  6. Skeleton Horde all over skin with the Pale Sand and Beige
  7. A very light wash of Carroburg Crimson over the red brown parts to even it out and dark the recesses
  8. drybrush Pale Sand very lightly over the Skeleton Horde making it look more like a highlight
  9. Black over the talons
  10. Morghast Bone over all the bone and teeth then when it dries Bag of Bones
  11. Undercoat the wings membranes with Ivory then when dried apply Blood Angels Red
