This is the recipe I use to paint my Obliterators' flesh as well as flesh for daemon engines.

If you'd like to check out my recipe for the armor, you can find it here: https://paintpad.app/r/4Uz

  1. Base coat Cadian Fleshtone
  2. Shade the recesses using a 1:1 mix of Cadian Fleshtone and Bugman's Glow thinned down to a glaze consistency
  3. Repeat the previous step using pure Bugman's Glow thinned down to a glaze consistency, avoiding raised areas
  4. Shade the deepest recesses using Carroburg Crimson
  5. Apply a conservative layer of Druchii Violet to the very deepest recesses
  6. Thin down Cadian Fleshtone to a glaze consistency and clean up the raised/flat areas and smooth out the transition between the midtone and shading
  7. Apply a 3:1 mix of Lahmian Medium and :Citadel/CarroburgCrimCarroll over to make the flesh look more irritated
  8. Highlight the raised areas using a 1:1 mix of Cadian Fleshtone and Kislev Flesh
  9. Apply a more selective highlight using Kislev Flesh
  10. Apply a very conservative spot highlight to the most extreme edges using Pallid Wych Flesh
  11. Finally, use a small amount of Drakenhof Nightshade to paint veins on top of the skin
