- Shade the yellow with Casandora Yellow
- Glaze Yriel Yellow towards the highlight
- Glaze Skrag Brown towards the shadow
- Glaze Flash Gitz Yellow towards the highlight
- Glaze Doombull Brown towards the shadow
- Edge highlight with 1:1 Flash Gitz Yellow and White Scar
- Weather the edges of the yellow with Abaddon Black
- Highlight the underside of each scratch with 1:1 Flash Gitz Yellow and White Scar
