Building the Base
- Cast the concrete in a thin lid or plate. Should be 2-3mm thickness.
- Break off a piece that covers most or some of the base.
- Glue down and quickly brake by pressing down while glue is still drying.
- Add Vallejo Brown Earth texture paste.
- Prime Black
Painting the Concrete
- Stipple Basalt Grey leaving barely any black on top showing through. Some on the sides in recesses and downward facing.
- Stipple highlight Medium Sea Grey on the tops and corners.
Finishing Touches
- Glue down tufts like Wild Tuft Dry green. And other dry looking tufts.
- Brush on Burnt Umber Pigments onto texture paste areas and tufts. A little between the concrete color transitions and just a touch on hooves or other mini parts touching the ground.
