Building the Base

  1. Cast the concrete in a thin lid or plate. Should be 2-3mm thickness.
  2. Break off a piece that covers most or some of the base.
  3. Glue down and quickly brake by pressing down while glue is still drying.
  4. Add Vallejo Brown Earth texture paste.
  5. Prime Black

Painting the Concrete

  1. Stipple Basalt Grey leaving barely any black on top showing through. Some on the sides in recesses and downward facing.
  2. Stipple highlight Medium Sea Grey on the tops and corners.

Finishing Touches

  1. Glue down tufts like Wild Tuft Dry green. And other dry looking tufts.
  2. Brush on Burnt Umber Pigments onto texture paste areas and tufts. A little between the concrete color transitions and just a touch on hooves or other mini parts touching the ground.
