- Base with Wraithbone .
- Drybrush sponge highlight with white.
- Paint the joints and shoulder plates with Leadbelcher .
- Coat the shoulders with Black Templar . Just one layer evenly applied. Then go back over with a light Leadbelcher drybrush on the highlight spots.
- Paint the regal elements with Iron Warriors .
- Wash all metallics with Reikland Fleshshade .
- Recess shade all metallics with Nuln Oil .
- Edge highlight the joints with Leadbelcher , the shoulders with Iron Warriors , and the regal elements with Stormhost Silver .
- Wash the bone with Pallid Bone thinned 1:2 with contrast.
- Recess shade bone with Agrax Earthshade .
- Go back over and drybrush whatever got too darkened by the washes using Wraithbone .
- Edge highlight with Wraithbone mixed 1:1 with white.
