The Pyrotekh dynasty of necrons is a dynasty I created for my Necron army. For inspiration for other Necron players I have made this rough guide to help.

Armour

1. Start by undercoating the entire model with Leadbelcher
2. Then wash the entire model in Nuln Oil
3. Highlight the armour in Stormhost Silver . Please note that this is optional. Its fine without it.

Gold armour

1. Basecoat the metal cloak with Balthasar Gold
2. Wash the Balthasar Gold with Agrax Earthshade
3. Optional highlight of Liberator Gold

Metallic red

1. Wash basecoat the Leadbelcher armour with Blood Angels Red . I recommend doing this after highlighting the armour with Stormhost Silver
2. Highlight the red armour with Troll Slayer Orange . Only do this if you didn't highlight the Leadbelcher armour with Stormhost Silver beforehand.
3. Apply some Balthasar Gold to any details on the red armour and use the same steps as before.

Glowing blades

1. Basecoat with Wraithbone
2. Wash Wraithbone with Magos Purple
3. Wash the now purpley-pink blade with Blood Angels Red
4. Add Blood Angels Red to the corners to make them darker. Do this multiple times after each coat is dry.
5. Optionally add a edge highlight of Troll Slayer Orange to the blades

Alternative way of painting blade

1. Start with a basecoat of Corax White
2. In the corners paint Rhinox Hide (see the image for reference)
3. Edge Highlight the blade with White Scar
4. Wash the blade with Blood Angels Red

Purple metal

1. Wash Magos Purple over the Leadbelcher

Black under-armour

1. Basecoat of Abaddon Black

Base

1. Paint the base with Agrellan Badland
2. Paint the base with Rhinox Hide also paint the rocks and any other terrain features on the base.
3. Paint the rim of the base with Abaddon Black

If you've followed these steps than you will have a fully painted Pyrotekh dynasty necron. Feel free to add more to your model after.
