Base

1. Prime in Wraithbone

Carapace

1. Mix 1:1 Abaddon Black / Naggaroth Night and block the carapace completely.
2. With a mix of 1:1 Naggaroth Night / Screamer Pink . Paint this along all the edges and the raised areas.
3. Run Genestealer Purple along the purple edges and highlight the fethered parts.
4. Do further highlighting on these areas with Dechala Lilac
5. Do a thin highlight of Slaanesh Grey over the highlighted areas.
6. Then do a spot highlight on Administratum Grey

Weapon

Weapon

1. Base coat with Khorne Red
2. Cover in Carroburg Crimson
3. Highlight the upper areas on the weapon with Wazdakka Red
4. With a mix of 1:1 Wazdakka Red and Wild Rider Red further hightlight these areas.
5. Lastly spot highlight with Wild Rider Red

Casing

1. Start with a basecoast of Corvus Black

Gem

1. Basecoat the entire gem in Doombull Brown
2. Add a 1:1 mix of Doombull Brown and Abaddon Black watered down and paint in the top of the gem.
3. With watered down Skrag Brown - begin to lower downwards from the top - leaving small parts of the previous coats untouched.
4. Add a small mix of Troll Slayer Orange to the Skrag Brown and work further down
5. Add another mix of Troll Slayer Orange
6. Now create a 1:1:1 mix of Troll Slayer Orange / Skrag Brown / White Scar as you get closer to the bottom.
7. Lastly, add a line of heavily watered down White Scar along the bottom of the gem.

Brain

1. Basecoat the area with Celestra Grey
2. Next apply Coelia Greenshade directly from the pot to these areas. Apply heavily so as to bring out the raised areas.
3. Now apply a very heavily watered down Ulthuan Grey for selective highlighting
4. Lastly, add White Scar to Ulthuan Grey and add a dot to raised areas.
