Prep

  1. Assemble minis, do not attach to bases
  2. Add a layer of greeniput all over the base
  3. Use the Greenstuffworld necron roller over the greenstuff base and let cure
  4. Glue basing material on base, being sure it doesn't interfere with final model placement
  5. Add texture paste around basing elements, and covering up any finger prints
  6. Prime Black

Exposed Armature Metal and Weapons

  1. Basecoat with a mix of Leadbelcher and Black Ink 1:4
  2. Wash with Nuln Oil from the wet palette
  3. Highlight with a mix of Leadbelcher and Black Ink 1:2
  4. Edge Highlight with Leadbelcher

Copper Embellishments

  1. Basecoat w/ Copper
  2. Wash/Tint with Seraphim Sepia
  3. Edge highlight with Leadbelcher

Main Armour/Body

  1. Basecoat with Heavy Charcoal
  2. Glaze/spray from underneath Cardinal Purple
  3. Glaze highlight with London Grey
  4. Glaze Heavy Charcoal to clean glaze edges and tint down the previous step
  5. Edge highlight with 1:1 mix of London Grey + Dead White
  6. Glaze shadows with Nuln Oil from the wet palette

Weapon Body

  1. Basecoat with Basalt Grey
  2. Wash with Nuln Oil
  3. Glaze shadows with Nuln Oil
  4. Glaze highlights with Basalt Grey
  5. Edge highlight with Basalt Grey + White 2:1

Accent/Shoulder Colour

  1. Basecoat with Dark Sea Blue
  2. Glaze rough highlights with Sotek Green
  3. Stipple highlights with Sotek Green
  4. Edge highlight with mix of Sotek Green + Ghost Grey 2:1
  5. Stipple highlights with mix of Sotek Green + Ghost Grey 2:1 with some Glaze Medium
